My journey into technology did not begin with writing code. It began with one simple question.
"What legacy will I leave behind?"
After completing my studies, I realised many talented young people believed opportunity only existed outside our province. I wanted to prove the opposite — so I started learning everything I could — networking, software engineering, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, business systems and digital transformation.
One of my earliest projects was built together with my sister using AppSheet and Microsoft Excel. That project taught me something powerful: ideas become valuable when they solve real problems.
In 2018 I founded SakhySisa IT Solutions, named after myself, Sakumzi, and my daughter, Sisamkele. Every time I see our company name, I'm reminded that today's work should create tomorrow's opportunities.
Since then we've built systems for healthcare, legal services, government, businesses and communities across South Africa. We also created projects that carry personal meaning — Alakhe, named after my son, exists to help young people discover careers. The C.T. Ngqobe Choral Foundation preserves my father's musical legacy through technology.
My goal has never been to build software alone. My goal is to build solutions that improve lives, strengthen organisations, inspire future innovators and prove that world-class technology can be built right here in the Eastern Cape — for Africa and the world.

The passing of my father inspired one life-changing question: "What legacy will I leave behind?" That question would later become the foundation of SakhySisa IT Solutions.

Officially launched — named after Sakumzi and daughter Sisamkele. First clients: local businesses, law firms and schools in East London. The proof of concept begins.
